September Meeting
The kids really enjoyed jump-roping and we will get to continue to participate in the jump rope workshop each 2nd and 4th Friday
At our next meeting, September 26th, Denise has arranged for a Flight Simulator demonstration. Several of us have enjoyed this guest study before and won't want to miss it!
Following this meeting, we will have a Tae Kwon Do sampler. Be sure to meet us on the square after lunch to see if this is a class you will want to continue.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all!

Older kids will go to Art first and then Gym at 10:30. Younger children will begin with Gym and then move to Art

Everyone is welcome to join us, but each family is asked to please volunteer and participate in some way. There is a $10.00 fee per family to join. Also, we ask that students attend with you or with someone you trust to take responsibility for your child both in discipline and in safety.

Tae Kwon Do is offered on the square at 1:30 pm following each 2nd and 4th Friday meeting.

New School Year
We have scheduled a planning meeting at Marianne McGregor's house on Friday, August 15th at 9:00 a.m. to discuss everyone's vision for what they would like to get out of our group this year. Marianne has a pool and has said the kids are welcome to bring suits and join in the fun.
Something we need to discuss is finding someone to direct us. We have enough families to form a nice group if we all work together. It will require someone to lead though. Please consider whether or not that someone is you.
We may have a professional art teacher joining us for a class option this year. I know we've all missed Ms. Elaine's awesome classes. Ms. Kimmie Thornhill is considering the position this year.
Please start thinking of things you would like to see or things that you may be interested in teaching. Here are a few ideas I've borrowed from author Julie Forsythe to get you started:
