Skating

Just in case you weren't there last month and didn't know: due to lack of interest, roller skating has been canceled for April and the summer. We'll try again in the fall, but without adequate attendance, we won't be able to resume.

End of Year

Our End-of-Year wrap-up is scheduled for Monday, April 30th at 6:00 p.m. at Grace & Glory. Please join us as our art students show off some incredible work they have done this year. Our high school art students have been working on animation and have a clip to show us in the sanctuary.

Tables are available for every family to display some of their favorite work of the year. If you have a science experiment you would like to display, please share it with us! Invite the grandparents, neighbors, and friends as our students display their hard work.

If you are able to bring a finger-food dish, it will be enjoyed and appreciated.

Following our display time, the Institute for Creation Research has a presentation on creation vs. Evolution for us at 7:00. More information on this wonderful organization can be found at www.icr.org .

End-of-Year Open House

We still have several months to think about it, but our Open House is scheduled for Friday, April 27th at 6:00 p.m. In the past, we've used this as an opportunity to showcase our art work created throughout the year. This year, we are going to provide half-tables for each family to showcase their own work. This will be a fun way to share your family's interests with the rest of the group. Have your students written any poetry they would like to share? Does your artist have a sketchbook to display? Bring in your science experiments, your inventions, your photos and scrapbooks....whatever you wish to share. You can purchase display boards (link to example) at any hobby or office supply store for just a couple dollars. Another option is a sewing board, with projects pinned to it.

Also, students are welcome to share any talents on stage beginning at 7:00. If you would like to sing, play an instrument, recite a poem....anything, please speak with Jennifer so that we can get you on the schedule.

Don't forget to invite family and friends!
